“هیات داوران سومين جشنواره فیلمهای ایرانی نيويورك با افتخار اعلام مى كند تماشای فیلمهای شگفت‌انگیز و حضور در کنار جامعه‌ای که سینما را ابزاری برای ارتباط می‌داند، برای ما افتخاری بزرگ بود. جشنواره‌هایی مانند این فرصت‌هایی را برای هنر و داستان‌گویی فراهم می‌آورند که حتی در برابر چالش‌های بزرگ، پیام خود را منتقل می‌کنند. در این جشنواره، هر فیلم فرصتی برای اتحاد و هم‌دلی میان ما بود. تفاوت‌های زبانی و فرهنگی تاثیری در احساسات مشترک‌مان نداشت و سینما بار دیگر نشان داد که می‌تواند انسان‌ها را از هر نقطه‌ای در جهان به هم متصل کند
